AI can make mistakes, hallucinate fake citations, or misinterpret laws

CourtCue assumes ZERO responsibility for errors in AI-generated drafts, arguments, summaries, or e-court lookup data. Always verify every section, citation, judgment and hearing date with the official statute, the court record, or a licensed advocate before you rely on it or file anything.

1. Who we are

CourtCue is an AI-assisted legal information tool for users in India. It provides general legal information, document drafting assistance, argument structuring and links to public court portals. It is not a law firm, does not create an advocate–client relationship, and does not provide legal advice.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details: name and email supplied at sign-in.
  • Content you create: questions, conversations, drafts, case entries, hearing dates and uploaded evidence.
  • Technical data: device/browser information and security logs needed to keep the service safe.

3. How we use your information

To operate the features you request, generate drafts and answers, remember your preferences (language and voice), keep an audit trail of changes to your case records, and detect abuse or malware in uploads. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Security & encryption

Sensitive case fields are encrypted, access is restricted by row-level security so you can only read your own records, and changes to case data are written to immutable audit logs. Evidence uploads are scanned for malware and quarantined if they fail the scan. No system is perfectly secure — use your own judgement before uploading highly sensitive material.

5. Settings & Plans (billing and payments)

Real transactions are securely processed by Stripe and Razorpay.

We do not store sensitive payment card details. Card numbers, CVV and bank credentials are entered on and held by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partners — Stripe and Razorpay — never on CourtCue servers. We only retain a payment reference, plan name, amount and status so we can show your billing history and activate your plan.

Where a plan is offered, charges, renewal terms and taxes are shown before you confirm checkout. At checkout you must confirm that you agree to this Legal Disclaimer and these Privacy Terms. Refunds and chargebacks are handled in line with the payment provider's rules and applicable Indian law.

6. Disclaimers

AI can make mistakes, hallucinate fake citations, or misinterpret laws.

CourtCue assumes ZERO responsibility for any error, omission, outdated provision, fabricated citation, wrong section number, incorrect court fee, missed hearing date or misinterpretation appearing in:

  • AI Draftsman output (plaints, writs, bail applications, affidavits, vakalatnama, notices, etc.);
  • Argument Strategist output (issues, statutes, precedents, rebuttals);
  • E-Court Hub lookups, case status, verdicts, next-hearing dates and cause-list data;
  • Bare Acts summaries, section explanations and evidence analysis.

All output is general information, not legal advice, and must be independently verified against official sources (India Code, eCourts, the Gazette of India, the court record) and reviewed by a licensed advocate before filing or acting. You remain solely responsible for anything you file or submit to any court or authority. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CourtCue and its operators disclaim all liability for loss, penalty, cost, adverse order or dismissal arising from reliance on the app.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Verify every citation, section and date before filing.
  • Do not upload malware, others' confidential data, or unlawful content.
  • Do not use the app to impersonate an advocate or to practise law without entitlement.

8. Data retention & your rights

You can delete your conversations, drafts and case entries from within the app. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your account data. Security and audit logs may be retained for a limited period for integrity and fraud-prevention purposes.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any clause is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
